I was pleasantly surprised by the relatively inexpensive pricing compared to good quality of the dishes. The environment was a bit noisy but overall nice ambience. Parking is tricky so recommend the $15 valet parking.

My wife and I had a late, leisurely lunch here and it was thoroughly enjoyable, with excellent food and great, attentive service, with no pressure to get us out. It's a large, warm space and one could easily imagine oneself being in Paris. We walked...More

Not cheap ... We paid 10 dollars for a Sambuca. But an excellent place to people watch and see the real way of serving absinthe.

Hayes Valley
Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky
shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to
imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of
a major freeway. Its removal allowed for the creation
of an attractive boulevard on Octavia Street with a
community park at its center and dozens of trendy
businesses to satisfy visitors looking for a stylish
respite.

nope they are not! They're a medium/high end bar/restaurant with an extensive drinks/wine list, some reasonable wine prices and others off the freakin' chart expensive!!
