We had fairly high expectations as this was a three-star restaurant. We have eaten at more than 15 Michelin starred restaurants around the world so we had pretty good reference points to benchmark Quince against. The service was friendly but a bit chaotic and unstructured....More

Quince gave us the best dining experience ever! Each course was perfectly plated and explained to us. Each course came with its own cutlery. We liked every course that came to us especially the fried toast with caviar. We were extremely full by the end...More

We sampled the Summer menu which is the abbreviated version of the Quince menu, offering seven courses to the full twelve at a price, I recall, of $210 plus another $179 for the wine pairing. A 2004 Dom Perignon accompanied the caviar panna cotta, a...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

There's no formal dress code in the restaurant. However people tend to dress up going to a restaurant in this caliber. You don't want the chandeliers in the restaurant out dress you, do you? 😉

Situated in San Francisco's historic Jackson Square, Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk's celebrated Quince Restaurant features an Italian and French inspired tasting menu that highlights the seasonal bounty of Northern California. Accompanying each menu is an innovative wine pairing and sophisticated cocktail program. Chef Michael Tusk was named "Best Chef: Pacific" by the James Beard Foundation in 2011. Quince was awarded its first Michelin star in 2010 and in April 2012 its second, the San Francisco Chronicle bestowed a fourth star to Quince. In 2016 Quince received its third Michelin star.
