We stopped in this cozy spot on a rainy walk back to our hotel... the pizza was good. It's a food truck (in a row of trucks) but it has a covered eating area outside specifically for Carmel customers (sheltered and safe from the wind!)

We walked past the unassuming Carmel Pizza on our way down to Fishermans Wharf on our first day in San Francisco and loved the wood stove smell of fresh cooking pizza. Looking for somewhere to eat on TripAdvisor we spotted Carmel Pizza so thought we'd give it a try on our way back. I'm glad we did because this was... More

Served from a food truck and therefore outside, sheltered from rain but not from cold, you'll have THE best pizza in San Francisco. Really tasty, great pizza crust and a great experience getting pizza from a unique location

Excellent quality pizza. Fresh ingredients on wholemeal bases. Wood fired. Not too cheesy. Would have liked to see a bit more topping for the price. Would go back there again though.

We loved the pizza. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, it’s kind of a food truck and there are lots of others like it around. I don’t know how sanitary things are here and it seemed like there were a few more flies than I would like at a normal diner when eating outside. Don’t get me wrong.... More

We visited on a warm evening so outdoor only seating wasn't a problem although they did have heaters which I assume they'd switch on foot cooler evenings. Pizzas came quickly and were delicious. Friendly service.

This place is really funky. It is a Food Truck alongside a number of other Food Trucks. It really is neat. The have a fenced in covered eating area. Wood fired pizza was delicious. You could sit there and people watch as you eat your pizza. A great break after all those large meals at the seafood restaurants.

They prepared a delicious wood fire pizza for me within 5 minutes of ordering. They were friendly, provided to-go options, and the pizza quality was high.

Had the Americano pizza. Very quick and enjoyable meal. Enough toppings without going overboard. Friendly staff
