What a beautiful Easter brunch we had at Park Tavern! Our waitress was informative and charming (from New Orleans). ALL of her recommendations were on point! We started with the Breton Butter Cake, Banana Walnut Bread, Smoked Deviled Eggs, and the Huckleberry Fritters. The Butter...More

Checked in to Washington Park Inn and went next door for a drink and something light. The hostess was wonderful and called our cell when an outdoor table became available. The mushroom soup was exceptional! The Brussels sprout chips were a little to salty for...More

I found this gem as a last ditch effort for brunch after being informed that a Mama's on Washington Square would be a 2 hour wait! I am so glad Park Tavern was able to accommodate because their food was nothing short of spectacular. I...More

The restaurant was consistently crowded and all the food we saw being served looked great. The bar (we had drinks only) had very friendly staff and solid drinks. Other people were eating at the bar and I heard several compliments. Very nice restaurant with cozy...More

We had dinner last night at the Park Tavern and it was delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant is classic, but casual. The service is efficient and the food is delicious. For our starter, we had Brussels sprout chips and beef jerky- both were plenty...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

I do not recall seeing a kids menu but I recommend that you call them because most restaurants will offer something simple for children to enjoy.

With an exciting mix of vintage fixtures, comfortable furnishings, and handsome textures, Park Tavern is an elegant spin on a North Beach neighborhood classic. Owner Anna Weinberg and designer Kendra Nicholas of Park Interiors collaborated to divide the room into unique, dedicated spaces -- the handsome marble bar, the terra cotta floored cafe with windows that open onto the patio facing Washington Park, the comfortable dining room with tufted leather banquettes, and an open kitchen with a chef’s counter. Park Tavern will showcase Chef Partner Jennifer Puccio's talents with delicious American bistro classics and emphasize seafood from a wood burning oven. From raw to fried, expect boldly flavored dishes that you'll want to eat several times a week. Serving up classic cocktails with the candor and character of an old friend, you won't find any overly fancy mixology here. But when it comes to wines, you find something for everyone!
