Wonderful understanding of coffee roasting and brewing. Everything from drip, to au lait, to cold brew were delicious.

picked up Six 1/2 pound bags of Hayes Valley Espresso and have been brewing it at home. Just OK at best which is very surprising as I love dark roast and I do have a decent Espresso machine. I would not buy it again.

Located inside the Marketplace on the far west end. There's no name or witty signage just a blue bottle and lots of people in line. The coffee is good, hence the long line. They also have coffee beans, coffee makers, books, chocolate and small grab & go food items. Service was fast, friendly & efficient. Almond milk $1 up-charge.

I do not have 1 coffee drink that I always order and even have decaf at times. But this place is serious, don't even consider decaf, it's not available. And little besides coffee but the yogurt cup was delicious and the" Overnight Oats" a real winner. The staff was knowledgable, efficient and smiling. Order a Gibraltar, a double expresso with... This is some of the better coffee I have come across in the USA. Being from Melbourne, and used to some decent coffee in our neck of the woods (not trying to sound like a coffee snob), I have been desperate to find coffee that resembles coffee (if that makes sense and not Starbucks!) Blue Bottle was good but not... More

Coffee was pretty decent and the wait times were fast (even with a long line). Caffe Mocha is the way to go. Don't ask for 'Steamed Milk' however, as it will destroy all flavour.

I don't know how this place does what they do. The lines are so long, but this is seriously good coffee and I can't believe, it but it is worth the wait. I am a skeptic. I love a cup of diner coffee, but this is a splurge. I had their iced coffee which is sweetened and with chicory. Good... More

West coast takes coffee seriously and Blue Bottle is one reason. Very good coffee, a bit more mild than others. Staff prepares each glass with the expertise you'd expect but quickly enough to keep the line moving. We went back more than once during our trip

Blue Bottle is the best of the best when it comes to coffee. The staff are very friendly and keep the line moving. Try one of the amazing waffles too! If you love fresh, strong coffee rich in complexity and depth, this is the coffee stop for you. You will not be disappointed.
