This bar was the first stop on this year's "Tomcat Pub Crawl" fundraiser. The bar is located in a nice neighborhood, Marina district-Pacific Heights-ish. Parking is the big issue which I imagine keeps the clientele to locals mostly. It's a short walk up to a...More

We went here when staying close by. It was a very quiet night with only one bartender on and a hand full of locals sitting at the bar. Still the bartender managed to cook up a couple of the best burgers we have had. Very...More

Hung out at The Brick Yard for a Saturday afternoon to watch the Tar Heels. It was a fun atmosphere. Our server was attentive but clearly overwhelmed by 6 and we had to flag him down for drinks every time. At one point, we flagged...More

No offense to Jake's Steaks, but there's no space there. We have taken over The Brick Yard and made it the #1 spot to watch our beloved Philadelphia Eagles in San Francisco. Every week we have the entire front alcove reserved and we have the...More

Greatest breakfast experience summer 2015! Quick service, cool, old-fashion urban interior. All known dishes with local twist and flavor added a feel-good touch to the meal.

Breakfast burger was a good, messy mouthful. Yummy potatoes. Unfortunately the french toast was a little bland. Made reservation online, including which game we were interested in watching. Worked very well, as they had table for us near a TV with our game on it....More

Tried a take-out order of the Pull Pork Sandwich and The Naked Bird, and both were disappointing. The Pull Pork sandwich tasted very ordinary for $12, and there were no sides that came with it. The Naked Bird ($15), a grill chicken dish that came...More

My husband and I stopped in for a couple drinks and dinner. The bartender was sweet and personable. We had the chicken entrees for our meals. Their potato mash was delightful and the greens were cooked to perfection. We were also fans of the atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere. We came here to watch the quarterfinal of the Euro 2016 tournament. Lots of other people did, too. We also wanted to have a Cuban, but were told the would not serve the regular menu until 2:30pm. It was just before noon. We...More

I liked especially the little pork slice burgers, the fries were seasoned good and the atmosphere with the brick walls makes it easy to stay. Thereabove, they showed a fantastic Euro Soccer quarterfinal (Wales-Belgium)

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
