The food here is what would would expect of a michelin restaurant. Inventive American in a beautiful modern room. So we were surprised that our waitress appeared to be having a bad night/didn't like us or was not happy. We were rushed through without the...More

Our waitress was not friendly and did not even bother to give us a list of specials. The food was tasty. Deviled eggs had a good flavor but the bread and hummus were the best. Beet Salad was good but small portions. Soup was thick...More

In a clean, minimalist but attractive ambiance, Nancy Oakes delivers innovative food again at this sister restaurant of Boulevard. The menu was "standard" upscale, recognizable from other restaurants, but the food itself was beautifully prepared and presented, and more importantly provided delicate flavors to the...More

We liked......the modern, clean design and you could hear despite it being a busy night. We were warmly welcomed by Nathan who chatted several times and gave great advice on SF things to do. We appreciated and were fully satisfied by smaller portion sizes. We...More

Ate here while visiting San Fran. Food and service were very good, but choices limited and you definitely will not leave the place stuffed. If you like smaller portions, and can find something that appeals to you, you will be very satisfied.

I have eaten here twice now; excellent wine list (for full bottles; by the glass could use some additions). Nice choice of appetizers and main courses

We came with old friends and had a lovely and delicious meal. The food was especially beautiful (photograph worthy but I was embarrassed to pull out my camera) and tasty to boot! The prices were on the high side but not outrageous.

I ate here with a friend and ex-colleague for a weekday lunch. Overall great place and higher end so lunch a little more pricier than going for the food trucks or sandwich shops but well worth it. Place is very well run with efficient and...More

Lovely business lunch for 10 people. Inventive and inviting non alcoholic beverage selection. I had the sea scallops and the dish was perfectly done. Everyone raved about their food. We shared the deviled eggs and squash blossoms, nicely done.

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

Yes, Prospect does have private dining rooms for groups. Just go to their website and click on "Private Dining." You can just Google the restaurant's name in San Francisco.
