On my way out for a run passing by and stopped in. I had a jalepeno bagel with lox spread and an iced coffee with espresso shot. The bagel was so soft it practically melted in my mouth. Also saw lots of drivers come in an pick up for delivery- I can't imagine this delivered on a lazy Sunday morning... More

I am a bit of a coffee snob (hate Starbucks), and when traveling I love to try to find local places. I also love a good bagel with my morning coffee. I found this place by accident, as it was just a couple of blocks away from my hotel. So I wandered over and tried it. The coffee and the... More

Growing up in NYC, you know what a bagel should be. They may not all stack up as well, but the basic premise should be there. Went to Posh Bagel recently, to cure some starvation and came away with the conclusion that San Francisco has some of the best restaurants in the world, but they are challenged in the bagel... More

I got the the good lox and everything bagel with cream cheese, capers, tomato, onions and cream cheese for $8.50. The Workshop Cafe in the Financial District was just passing with only lox, bagel and cream cheese for $7.50. Workshop cafe was a ripoff! Then if you don't use the Workshop Cafe computers or sign in with your personal information... More

This is a bagel place. It doesn't hold itself out as anything else. It's good but I'm not sure there's a lot you can do with a bagel except make sure it's fresh. Bagels were fresh and convenient

Stumbled on this little cafe by mistake. Delicious freshly toasted bagels. Even ordered seconds as they were so good. Coffee was fine too so it made a cheap breakfast option.

The place is unwelcoming. The bagels are ok. The guy who is prepares the sandwiches is unpleasant; almost rude. But you don't go there for the service. I guess it is convenient place for people leaving in the neighborhood. I have strong suspicion on the hygiene of the place. I will never go back there.

Most lunch places in the Embarcadero Center are a bit pricey, but not the Post Bagel. I asked for egg salad on a plain bagel. The woman took too fresh hard boiled eggs and made the sandwich fresh, toasted it and served me in a matter of a couple of minutes. It was the best egg salad sandwich I have... More
