If I could rate Benu 6 stars I would. My boyfriend took me to Benu for my birthday. What a magical experience it was. Corey Lee's Tasting menu is superb. Beginning with the Thousand Year Old Egg, each course is a masterpiece in itself. I...More

I've never been to a 3 Michelin starred restaurant so when a good friend said she'd treat 3 of us to dinner to celebrate a special occasion I was pumped. For context we each had the testing menu ($285 each) and the accompanying beverage pairing...More

Frankly speaking, i quite enjoyed the culinary journey toward the sixteen courses tasting dinner but for that price i can get better food with more lavish ingredients elsewhere. I must say that the dishes are creatively crafted but yes, they didn't bat an eye to...More

While the tuna and shark were incredible, the shrimp and abalone were just average. Which Doesn't justify 600 USD per person

Having tried quite a number of top rated restaurants worldwide, I was very, very pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally high quality of Benu. The setting is serene, with attention to every detail, from the bronze chopstick/ spoon/ rest to the water glasses, to the dishes....More

This is 3* Michelin restaurant that is so unique. Everything is Asian/Asian-inspired. The service was *perfect*. We were a lot younger than most of the other guests and I didn't feel like they were treating us like we were less important. Also, the interior is...More

SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs

find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

With advance notice, the chefs can modify the tasting menu to remove most gluten (breads, dumplings, noodles...). Although, they are unable to completely remove soy sauce from all of the marinades, sauces, etc.
