Great breakfast options at really reasonable prices. Lovely decor. Really friendly waiters who are very attentive to your needs. Not as busy as other breakfast places near fisherman's wharf but was certainly the best by us.

We found this restaurant thanks to a recommendation from Lonely Planet. It is open from 730 to 230 for breakfast/lunch/brunch and offers a simple but tasty menu. I had an excellent Californian omelette with feta cheese, spinach and tomatoes; my daughter had a waffle with...More

Pat's is a breath of fresh air on an otherwise dreary couple of blocks - the bright yellow sign grabbed our attention, the yellow interior was warm and inviting. The staff was super-nice and very attentive. Great menu as well. But... I ordered a patty...More

Great place to have an unforgettable breakfast. Delisious omelets, good coffee, great people. Usually it gets busy in the morning. You might have to wait to get a seat.

Overall, ok breakfast and moderately priced. Service was on the slow side. Plenty of options on the menu. Location is conveniently located near the last trolley car stop for fishermen's wharf. Interior was on the sloppy and dirty side. Just didn't feel clean.

After a whirlwind city tour in a few short hours, we needed lunch. As we strolled the waterfront and passed the tourist traps, we made the wise choice of heading inland a few blocks to find this cheery cafe. While their menu is angled towards...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
