The crab cake did not have much flavor. It seemed to be more breaking than crab. I had to put hot sauce on it to spice it up. I never put hot sauce on food as I like to enjoy the true flavor. The people sitting next to me really seemed to enjoy their oyster, but I was disappointed with... More

Self service, you order pay and then they call out your order# when your food is ready. I had clam chowder New England Style and the Tuna burger. The chowder was really good but the tuna sandwich was nothing special.

We went here for lunch, hoping to get some really good seafood. It was average and there was almost no place to sit, We had to take our food outside, which was actually a beautiful day. Our group of three had the chowder, crab cake sandwhich and coconut shrimp. Nothing was bad, but nothing was of the caliber we hoped... More

While checking out all the eateries in the Ferry Building - I decided to give the San Francisco Fish Company a try. There was a crowd gathered for the oysters, so I figured that was a good sign. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and my friend had the Fish & Chips. The food was reasonable priced and we topped it... More

When visiting the many food related initiatives in the Ferry Building we were struck by the SF Fish Companies offering. Everything looked fresh and yummy! As we were on the move we decided to get the Chef's Special. It was heavenly good!

Good but pricy seafood that embraces the bounty of California's waterways. A Ferry Building classic.

Happening little shoppe in the Ferry Building serving great on-the-go snacks. The raw stall today was selling Long Island (NY) clams and Chef Creek (BC) oysters at $2 per half shell! (That's lower than the market price of the more gourmet oyster bars in the area.) Drizzle a little lemon juice &/or Tabasco sauce and experience the divine chewy briny... More

The best way I can explain is to tell you about the "crab" quesadilla. It was a good size quesadilla, lots of cheese, not much crab. Ultimately disappointing. Probably would skip next time.

Stopped here for lunch on a very busy Saturday afternoon; I was surprised how busy the Ferry Building was at nearly 3p! There was no seating available at the small tables that are part of the Fish Company, so I got my order to-go and sat on a bench outside. I ordered some clam chowder and the swordfish sandwich. The... More

This was the happiest place in San Francisco the Friday we returned, enticed by the offer of Aloha Friday specials! The joy of a little slice of Hawaiian magic in the Ferry Building (at the end of Market St),amid friendly locals, was just too good to be true. Think of yummy coconut shrimp, ahi poke tacos, fried fish katsu, ahi... More
