My husband and I had a taste for Thai and had not been able to find good Thai in the Waikiki area for our taste buds. We have had authentic Thai and have high expectations. So, after visiting the west beaches, we decided to try Spicy House based on TA reviews. OMG! We had Fried Rice with Shrimp, tofu and... More

There are few places on the Westside of Oahu that have tasty food. This is one of them. We enjoyed the Curry Noodle with Green Curry, Fried Pork Belly, Pho, Appetizer Sampler platter, and Evil Jungle Curry. We topped off our meal with Coconut ice cream on Sticky Rice.

This is the place to go in Wainae. It doesn't look special from the outside, but the best Thai food and a very reasonable price. I believe I have eaten there at least six times. They let you bring your own alcoholic beverage without any fees.

Parking is ample. Property is old but clean. Reception was friendly. Noise level high. Service was very good. Lighting was poor. Tables close. Menu was creative. Food presentation was weak but the flavors were well blended. Food was fresh. Eggplant was very tasty. Chic Satay was solid. Just down home tasty. Well worth the drive.

Our airbnb host in makaha recommended spicy Thai. I'm glad she did, because I likely wouldn't have gone in here otherwise to be honest! We enjoyed our meals (chicken fried rice and chicken massuman), very authentic, spring rolls were delicious (though a little on the pricy side, but to be honest I mentally convert everything to new zeal and dollars).... We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Makaha. We had four dishes: cashew chicken, fried fish curry, pad se we, and chicken curry. Each dish was well prepared and tasty. The service was a bit slow; two dishes arrived after a short time, two other dishes arrived some time later (even after several... More

Decided to try this place late afternoon during the work week. Drove from Honolulu. If you're just visiting Hawaii, please note (if looking at a map) that this place may not seem terribly far from Honolulu, but it can take you much longer than you expect to get there, if you're traveling when the roads are typically busy (which seems... My husband and I stopped for take out? They were friendly and service was fairly quick. We really like the pad Thai. Not crazy about the sweet and sour breaded shrimp as they had tails on and we were surprised because they were breaded. The spring rolls were good. Enjoyed on our lanai. Would definitely have the pad Thai again. They... More
