Stopped here for lunch. Pretty much a plate lunch place. Not bad and I guess pretty good for a Sunday afternoon but nothing too special. had the hamburger and fries, onion rings, and the teri beef salad. The onion rings were very good, everything else nothing special but since only place open that we saw, it did the trick.

Very local, and probably one of the better places to get a good variety of food. If you can't find it here, you won't find it anywhere else on the island.

A place to get local food. Mid-range priced. They have a sign about Aloha served there, but the staff isn't overly friendly & is short on the phone in taking orders. Not much room to sit inside to eat, but they have tables outside.

Stopped for breakfast. Ordered eggs , bacon and hash browns. Was served in a styrofoam box and the hash browns were patties like McDonalds would serve.

This is the place. Of course it's locally owned. This is Molokai! They have a few tables, and you watch your meal being prepared, but everybody is friendly. A good call if you like rubbing elbows.

I had their teriyaki chicken and it was delicious! Auntie Teri from the bookstore recommends this restaurant as well.

A nice place for lunch with outside seating. The portions are large so come hungry. Lots of locally caught fish on the menu.

Maka's was the first restaurant that I ate at upon arrival. Now, on reflection, I think I enjoyed my best Molokai restaurant meal on Molokai. I now forget what the dish is called, but the hamburger patties that arrived on rice smothered in gravy were divine. So simple, yet so delicious. I haven't had anything like it before or since.

In two days, we visited this place twice. Both times we ordered plate lunch. Excellent food and service. Very tasty pork and good price. Nice staff. Excellent plate lunch!

This little take out offers a big menu....but their #1 hit is their saimins. They offer anything from miso saimin to curry saimin. They also have all kinds of local plate lunches, burgers and sandwiches and also the famous Teri Chicken Salad. They have a few umbrella table outside if you want to eat there, but their food is good... More
