The coconut shrimp is perfectly battered with a great crunch on the outside and tender shrimp inside. Whilst I adore capers, the sauce with garlic shrimp dish was excessively salty (couldn't eat the rice that had been sauced). The accompanying salad and rice make for a nice meal plate, regardless of what you order. The price a tad bit much... More

Having spent 2 weeks in Maui, we have had the opportunity to sample food from a variety of food trucks. The going price appears to be $14 for 6 coconut shrimp and most taste like they came directly from Costco. Kinaole Grill Food truck was a pleasant exception! The Coconut Shrimp plate included a fresh salad a nice amount of... More

Please make this one of your MUST STOP HERE places. We had 2 shrimp appetizers ($10 each) for our kids, I had the seared ahi w/ cream wasabi ($15), and my husband had the pulled pork with guava BBQ sauce ($14). All of it was excellent! The coco shrimp was cooked to perfection, my ahi was like butter and the... More

You don't have to go to Texas or the Carolinas to enjoy the best BBQ pulled pork, because it is here in Maui at the Kinaloe Grill Food Truck. They also serve a phenomenal garlic shrimp platter and a delicious Mahi. The owners are great people, friendly and willing to give you tips about the local cuisine. Come and have... More

I had the garlic shrimp for dinner. It came with rice and salad. Very good and easy walk from condo.

This food rivals Roy's or any fine dining establishment. I am a bona fide foodie and we ate here twice in our 5 days on Maui. the seared ahi, spicy shrimp, pulled pork were all awesome. The organic salad with goat cheese and mac nuts is totally ***** restaurant. And don't skip the mango cheesecake for dessert. I wish this... More

Pictures look inviting but I was not real impressed with the scoop of dry cooked rice. Meats are all deep fried and ok. Salad was also mediocre. One evening I had appetizer coconut shrimp which was 4 shrimp for $10. Another afternoon I had the same appetizer at Eskimo Candy which was 5 coconut shrimp for $8. Just saying :)

We ate at Kinaole Grill food truck the first day we got to Maui. We were hungry and tired and didn't feel like finding a restaurant. We each got a platter with fish, and an order of shrimp. It wasn't until we got back to the condo that we realized how small the portions were. The shrimp order literally had... More

I had read lots of reviews on tripadvisor so was excited to try the truck out. We just stopped by for lunch and we were not disappointed! We ordered the garlic shrimp ($15) and the crispy calamari($14.50) plates, both were excellent! If we had to choose which was better, both my husband and I would vote for the calamari. It... More

Decided to try this food truck based on reviews and was not disappointed! The fried calamari was the best I've ever had (seriously)! So light and tender and perfectly cooked. Loved the sauce on the side. My husband had the tonkatsu and wasn't as impressed with his choice as I was with mine. Side salad had fresh mixed greens and... More
