We ordered the local specials (Kalua Plate and Loco Moco) and were satisfied. Very good lemonade. It's the only restaurant in the park and definitely better than expected and priced more or less the same as everywhere else we ate. Regardless, stop between hikes and have a beer if nothing else.

The lodge is the only eating option in the Waimea Canyon--a place you probably wouldn't choose if you had a lot of other options, but very welcome after a hike. You order at the bar, pick a table, get your own water, and then the food is delivered. When you're done, bus your own table. The food is good--your typical... More

We stop here every time we drive up waimea canyon. The Coconut pie with chocolate and much nuts is divine. The lilikoi pie with passion fruit is delicious and tart. Lots of chickens and birds...instead of grabbing a drink and people watching, why not bird watch.

My wife and I had spent the morning driving up Waimea Canyon, and we stopped at Kokee Lodge Restaurant for lunch. I was pleased when I saw that they had loco moco on the menu, a local Hawaiian dish I had been wanting to try. My wife ordered the Portuguese soup. Loco moco has many variations, but the traditional one... More

Meal was good, not very big, or maybe I was just that hungry after the hike. Restauraunt is on the spendy side for a counter order, bus your own table setup. Buy a Tiki Bar from the gift shop. I went with the coconut and dark chocolate. Thank me later.

Don't plan to eat here. We ordered medium burgers and they were very rare. And they were overpriced as well.

Nice food, virtually the only place to get food once you ascend from the the ocean. Nice museum next door.

A step above the typical national park lodge with a bit of a coffeehouse feel, but nothing special. Still, fully adequate for lunch and the only option around.

drove up to Waimea Canyon , drove up to the Lodge for lunch. The four of us ordered different meals and each of us was pleased with our lunches. I had the chili and corn bread which was delicious. The area is very pretty and was a perfect choice.
