Sitting by the beach watching smooth waves and sipping cold drinks. Duke's atmosphere is great for relaxing and watching Kauai time go by.

Was in Kauai for anniversary and wife's birthday. We ate at Duke's with the Hula Pie and live entertainment overlooking the beach and bay. It was great for us and even though busy, we had great service. Friendly environment and easy access from the Marriott.

Island casual for the most part. Some people dressed up a little ( dress shorts and collared shirt) but not fancy dress by any means.

On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
