We've gone to the Friday seafood buffet a couple of times and this time I was quite underwhelmed. The crab is very good, but other items, including the shrimp are just OK. I'm just not that excited about a buffet, in general, so it has to really be great to impress.

If you are staying in the hotel and don't want to walk five minutes to find restaurants across the street, then this is a convenient option. Other than being in an open air environment, there is no reason to choose this restaurant. The food is average, the service is slow and the prices are high.

Met old friends here at their recommendation. There were very few people there even though we had reservations. Service was slow and food was barely OK. My crab cakes were about the worst I've ever tasted. My husband tasted and totally agreed. Our least favorite restaurant in our two week trip. There's many good ones around so don't waste your... Highly recommend the Saturday Prime Rib and Crab Pa'ina. Beautiful sunset view and good buffet consisting of prime rib and crab legs, lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail, poke, salad bar, baked potato bar, rice, veggies, pasta and fish dishes and a variety of deserts. Service was friendly and efficient.

My husband and I stayed at the Waikoloa Marriot Beach Resort for 5 nights and had many opportunities to eat at Hawaii Calls. While the food is good, it is very expensive and the service is very poor. Our first night be ate dinner at the bar since a $55 person roast beef and king crab legs dinner buffet was... More

the restaurant was HORRIBLE I sincerely hope the menu is getting a make over along with the renovations... we ate breakfast lunch and dinner and lunch at the pool once also! Do not eat breakfast or dinner here. Two of us ordered the steak and mash for $45usd and it was literally.. steak and mash. Boring and not worth it.... More

This is our second visit to Hawaii Calls, the food was so good and the view is spectacular! I had Mahi Mahi and my husband had the chicken. It was really good, service was great. Unfortunately this was a disappointment but the location is fantastic and you might have a better experience than us. Two families went out for dinner two nights ago. It turned out that evening was the buffet night and I think that might have been our problem. We aren't above a buffet but for $55 each I would prefer to order... More
