We thoroughly enjoyed the #3 option. It was recommended to us and we were suitably impressed. The ambience is old world and reminded me of the early 1960s. Don't bother with dessert.

This is a family restaurant established in 1929. They offer a variety of authentic Japanese food from breakfast to dinner. Reservation highly recommended. Their highchair was super clean. A big plus to traveling families!

We ordered Teshima Trio (sashimi, tempura, fried fish), fried ahi, ono pork chop, and beef curry stew- ALL WONDERFUL!!! The wait is worth it.

Quick bite before heading back to hotel. We picked a great Japanese Restaurant called Teahima's. Authentic, tasty and filling. Loved this place. Very friendly servers. Top notch!

Great lunch spot. Really good veggie tempura, fresh sashimi, and lunch combos are well done. Service is great and the family history of this restaurant makes you want to come back and see this place continue on for many years to come. Highly recommend!!!

We have been going here on our trips for 35 years. I think they have been there for a lot longer than we have. Love the pork chops. My family likes the Sushi.

At first glance, this isn't a place you might consider venturing into but you would be missing an experience if you do. It is obvious the locals know this place and have kept the family legacy in operation since 1928. The store evolved into a restaurant with a focus on Japanese and local Hawaiian cuisine in 1957. The restaurant focus... More

Went to Teshima Restaurant on October 20 with a couple business associates. My wife saw a review on a local tv station so she suggested it. She said the food looked ono! I was not disappointed. I had the Kona up country chop steak. Wonderful. It was very tasty with just the right amount of veggies. I also had the... More

Had a wonderful, generously portioned, economical, Japanese dinner in this casual, welcoming, homey restaurant. We arrived on a Saturday, at 5:30 to a nearly empty restaurant, left 90 minutes later when all tables were occupied. Leaving at 7:00, we easily made a 7:30 curtain at the Aloha Theatre, just minutes down the road. Food was carefully prepared and presented by... More

Wow, what a special treat for an evening dinner. Excellent food at a reasonable price in a relaxing atmosphere. Our entire party loved the evening and would highly recommend.
