We just love to find small local places to try and this was worth the drive to beautiful Waimea. Massive quantities so you might want to share. The pancakes & Hawaiian Sweetbread French Toast were unbelievable!

I go there every few weeks for a treat. Cash only. Be hungry when you get there, because the portions are big. The food is great, the people are friendly and the prices are very good.

Go here when you're really hungry and can handle carbs galore. The place is popular with locals and a tourist attraction at the same time. Try (once!) the loco moco. No-one can eat her all the time, but it's a wonderful occasional experience.
We have been going to the Hawaiian Style Cafe for many years now, and the place hasn't changed a bit. I always get the macadamia nut pancakes and they are terrific, especially with the coconut syrup. You can't go wrong with the Hawaiian Style Cafe.
