We stopped in to the cafe 100 for a quick bite. My husband loves to eat there each time we come to Hilo. It was far better than I remembered. They have 32 types of Moco Locos. Better than Baskin Robbins! Nothing fancy, just great taste. It's Hawaiian fast food, though I dislike using those words because of the "trash... More

We tried lunch. Food was way too oily and overcooked. Service was friendly, and food came right off, but I do not recommend this for anyone on a low fat diet.

Stopped in Hilo for the day and friend told me gotta try cafe 100, home of the loco moco. I've my share of loco's but these guys do it the best. Huuge portion and the gravy is so so good. Highly recommend if your in Hilo and craving a carb load!

We stopped in for a quick breakfast. The food definitely wasn't the best in town, but probably the most affordable and definitely did the trick for us. The outdoor covered seating was pleasant.

We each got the breakfast special. Full meal for less than $10 a person. Plenty of locals and continously steady flow of people but it didn't take long at all.

I was raised on the Big Island. No trip back home is ever complete for me without a stop at Cafe 100. Over the years, my family has made me try other places but Cafe 100 is still my favorite. Must have the gravy burger, somen salad and the lilikoi drink. Happy, happy, happy!!!

I love this place; home of the loco moco. I tried their chili loco, which was just chili over rice, cheese and a fried egg... wasn't impressed though. Their cheeseburgers are good with a sweet mustard sauce. They have a daily specials hotline to hear their specials. Their fries are crispy and plentiful. Good place to try.

My family stopped for lunch after a morning of waterfalls and the Tsunami Museum. Service was very quick and great helpful staff at the window. I had the classic loco moco - at $3.25 for a container of rice with one patty and one egg - it was a great price and enough food for lunch and very satisfying. My... More

I stopped by Cafe 100 when I was visiting Hilo because I heard it was the original loco moco place. And it did not disappoint!!! Granted I didn't have many meals in Hilo, it was by far the best. Even though there was a line at lunch time, it went by quickly and I got my food even quicker. I... More

Great cheap food! The super loco moco will have you full for sure! The regular loco moco is a great deal so if you haven't ever tried one, here's a perfect opportunity at a great price.
