An excellent lunch stop. It looks a bit dive-y but the pork/sweet potato burrito with coconut cilantro rice (Hula burrito) was amazing. Exceptionally tasty and fresh.

My husband and I were visiting our son and his girlfriend in Hilo when they brought us to this restaurant for dinner. I must admit, we were taken aback by its "hole-in-the -wall" appearance; it was a beautiful night, so we chose to sit outside at one of its two tables. They had eaten here several times, and were happy... More

From first glance of this place you might be inclined to find a place more visually appealing, it would be a great mistake to pass this place up. It's a very small place with a few and I mean few as in three little tables. We walked in and were greeted by a smiling owner/chef who gave us a quick... More

Walked by this place many times but this time we stopped. The food was incredibly flavored with a delicious combination of spices. Plenty of vegetarian options. I had the vegetarian quesadilla-best ever, friends had the vegan version which was just as awesome and the vegetarian burrito which was also just as good. We all loved the main course. The salsa... Was craving burritos one day, and wanted to check out a local place. Went in and was greeted by the friendliest gentleman. He suggested getting the "wet burrito", I'm not one to question someones suggestion, especially when they are as adamant as he was about how good it tasted. I was feeling on the adventurous side, so I agreed enthusiastically.... More

After having read reviews, my husband and I decided to try Bueno Burrito since there are few options for Mexican food. The restaurant is small and has no ambiance. It is somewhat clean/tidy but looked like it could use some more attention. The menu is a little hard to figure out so the (owner, I think) helped us out and... More

Jorge serves up a tasty, fat burrito on the cheap in this tiny (two tables inside, two out) taqueria.
