The service was prompt and friendly. The food was not good, and arrived at the table cold. A customer at the table beside ours cut into his liver and onions meal, and the liver was raw and bloody. This prompted us to order something that had to be thoroughly cooked. The restaurant was run down and dirty. We would have... More

Went here for breakfast walking over from the RV park across the street (Western Hills RV Park). Very good service and food. Large portions and good coffee - what more could you want?

We were staying near by motel and wanted to have couple of beers and snack in evening. This was in walking distance where we were staying. Good food, nice clean place, excellent service. I would go again.

My daughter and I went to Capps for dinner. I got the chicken fried steak and potatoes. I had eaten several bites of my chicken fried steak. And then I took a bite of my potatoes. I noticed there was a live ant in my potatoes. I called our waitress over to let her know. She went back immediately and... More

Friendly fast service, varied menu, clean location, and really good food. Great place to dine for the entire family, especially when they all want something different to eat. Would highly recommend to others.

Typical off the highway fare. Average. Good service. We were glad to find it as a last stop before heading west.

The food was okay, but not great. The service was good and our waitress was friendly. Probably would not go back if ever in the area again.

Old school atmosphere. Small and simple menu. We had the red chili, it was decent. Waitress forgot our side salad but removed it from the bill promptly upon noticing the mistake. We were eating our main course within ten minutes of being seated. We were in and out in under thirty minutes. Quick and friendly service. They were moderately busy.

Decent diner food, though heavy-handed with the gravy on my hot turkey sandwich. We arrived just ahead of an expected tour bus, and the restaurant staff were running like all hands on deck. We ordered quickly and, as we were eating, pitied the poor people seated after the bus arrived. Our turn to wait came when it was time to... More

I had the smothered enchiladas and my friend had the smothered soft tacos. They both were great. Our waitress had been there 13 years and attentive even though they were busy. This was my 3rd time to stay in Rawlins and eat at Cappy's.
