The clerk at our hotel recommended this place as being "one of the top three in Rawlins". Wrong. Four of us walked into an empty dining room and the hostess/server seemed confused about where to seat us. We got our menus and water and it was straight downhill from there. I wanted a beer, but I was told to go... More

Only place in town open on January 1st. Server was very friendly. Wanted a steak but didn't want to pay $25 + in Rawlins Wyoming! I had the chicken fried steak with jalepeno cheese tots. Tots were ok, but too many. Steak was ok, but I expected more as I was told it was all made fresh in the back.

The steak was good and huge. It wasn't real hot when serviced and I should have sent it back but didn't so it was my fault. My wifes fish and good also.

Service has a lot to do with experience. Our server was either new or just not with it. We had the smoked prime rib and it was tasty; however the loaded baked potato seemed a bit dried out. People behind us got baked bread...we got nothing. Not on our list to do again.

The ambiance was good, the service was good - however, the food was not very good at all. I ordered BBQ platter -- I barely touched it!

A couple of our party had ordered the ribs, rack and half rack. They were huge! Enough to feed many with lots left over. Mac and Cheese (side) was boxed but the waitress wasn't shy about telling us that in advance, and it was fine for some. We were there on a Wednesday, so while hoping for more activity, could... 1 of 3 staff people there seemed happy. Our server was not one of them. Service was slow, but the food was good. The waitress didn't ask what kind of bbq sauce I wanted, so when my daughter's plate came with regular and spicy I requested spicy too. I was nearly done with my meal by the time it came.... More

Not sure what happened to this place. We ate here 4 years ago and it was great. However, things have changed. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and things were looking pretty good. She sat us at our table with menus and disappeared for about 10 minutes, she then returned with water for everyone, the problem was that... More

We ate her a few years ago while traveling thru Wyoming, it was good then. Have things changed! You're greeted by dirty rugs that smell as if someone has just gotten sick. Then we waited a full 5 minutes in an empty restaurant to be seated, as requested by the sign, to have our waitress finally come in to check... More

Ate there on Tuesday and that was the special. Great steak, cooked just right, and a great value. Adjoining bar had good cold beer. Good service and good value. Owner and male Host were very attentive and friendly.
