Went to the Irma for the weekend all you can eat prime rib. Excellent prime rib and generous portions. Loved the vegetables and the baked potato was so good. Love the atmosphere at the Irma. Casual and fun. The service was good and very friendly. Loved the cowboy cutting prime rib.

Arrived in Cody after a long day, found the Irma (quite central). Better than expected, very lively, great service, good honest food, good prices, an enjoyable time before we got on the coach (it stops there) to the rodeo.

We had dinner at the Irma after our 12-hour tour of Yellowstone on Sept. 7.. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. The restaurant was decorated in the "Old Western Style" and very attractive.

So thrilled we made the time on our most recent visit to Cody to stop in to the Irma for an early dinner. We had plans to visit the Dan Miller show so we stopped in late afternoon and were seated promptly at a table right near the historic bar - beautiful by the way! The three of us chose... More

Good food but too much on plate and quite expensive to boot. The Meat Loaf received plaudits from our company as did the chicken pot pie.

This is a fun place with lots to look at around the saloon dining room. The food very good, the service slow. It took awhile for our server to find a wine list ("We don't do a ton of wine here!") An added attraction after our lunch was an art show in some of the hotel's rooms--great fun and very... More

We arrived after a long day of hiking and the place was packed, which was an excellent sign. The interior of the dining area was stunning, the food was great and the portions were large. The service was also pretty good. I had tried the Rocky Mountain Oysters which I had been wanting to try for several years and I... More

We had the prime rib buffet on a Saturday. The prime rib, mashed potatoes, and ham were by far the stars of the show. I was pretty bummed that the only offerings for dessert were pudding and jello. For $26/pp I expected more in terms of selection.

The famous bar was pretty, the food was adequate but listening to the restaurant employee and a local joking about a presidential candidate getting shot if she came into Wyoming turned an okay experience into an unpleasant one. I understand having a strong opinion about the election but don't understand advocating violence towards either candidate. The fact that an employee... More

It is a historic hotel and restaurant. Loved Loved Loved the atmosphere. Just looking at the old bar, sitting in the old booths almost made it worth the trip. We chose the buffet. The chicken was extremely dry (I got a thigh) and no flavor, it looked good but wasn't. The roast beef was ok a little tough. The best... More
