Great coffee shop. Good coffee. Nice pastries. Good place to meet friends. Recently added outdoor wood decks not sure why because the front yard space was adequate enough. Whatever, maybe money to throw away.
I work very close to The Sow's Ear so I go there a lot!! Very simple but delicious sandwiches with great bread and cheese. I don't knit so I can't talk about their yarn. Coffee I usually prefer Tuvalu but it is good. If you are looking for something different try the white zombie coffee. Very mild taste but lots... More
Love coming here every time I visit Wisconsin. The staff are so helpful & friendly. They know their craft and can help with trouble-shooting. Their yarn & tools of the trade selections are helpful & right up everyone's alley for knitting or crocheting. The coffee & food are great.
We stopped on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The place is quaint and enjoyed by the locals. More of a coffee shop rather than a diner. We each ordered a piece of the quiche special of the day along with coffee drinks. It is serve yourself for a 'bottomless' cup of coffee. Took longer than normal to receive our order,... More
Took my son for brunch and loved the cozy ambiance on a Saturday morning. Service and coffee were great. We had a choice of three types of quiche or pastries. The quiche with greens was very good. I rated this as average as there was such a limited selection.
We had the Sow of the Coop (chicken salad sandwich with roasted peppers) and it was delicious. Love this little place. Would recommend the blackberry iced tea too. Worth the stop and the town is cute too!
I can't even say how many times I have been here...The food is tasty and well prepared. They include organic and local choices. The menu has vegetarian options as well as meat options. Great coffee, great espresso. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the yarn is beautiful! And the classes are excellent.
