My wife and I dined here last Friday, May 5th. We each had lamb shank. I had mine with broccoli. My wife had hers with garlic mashed potatoes. Each dinner came with a cup of a chicken chorizo soup. Food was wonderfully prepared, and the portions were more than adequate. For desert, we split a nice slice of tiramisu. Our... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. Excellent and friendly service. Nice wine list. Really good Caesar salad and the chocolate peanut butter cheesecake was to die for.

Came here while traveling north to hopefully see the Northern Lights on an unusually active night (which I did see). The ambiance here is very very nice!!! Great color coordination with nice pictures, which adds to the coziness. Near the restrooms, there are some beautiful photos taken by my favorite black and white photographer, Ansel Adams. The waitress ,Debbie (I... More

We called at 8pm to make sure they weren't closing early, like a lot restaurants do in the off-season (late March in Door County is as "off" as you get, when entire towns have their sidewalks rolled up). Chef Michael Santo couldn't have been nicer....he clearly GETS the concept of hospitality, whereas many of his brethren have long forgotten it.... More

This was an experience and we visited during a snowstorm, so we had the entire place to ourselves. The food was superb, best salmon I have had. My friend said her stuffed pork chop was great. Our waiter answered all questions and was great. We will be back.

Quaint old bank with only beer and wine... which is the only bad part of this review. Great service. Gnocchi is fab.. asked for a side of Alfredo because sauce a little acidy for me. Husband has Alfredo with Italian sausage. YUM. salad and soup were very good. Will go back!

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Trattoria Dal Santo in Surgeon Bay. We went on a winter weekday. We made reservations, but they were not necessary. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Inside was warm and friendly. The waitress who served us was friendly and attentive although, I must admit, she seemed a bit... More
