Ordered a sandwich and a burger from the menu. Both were very good. Prices are steeper than fast food places, but quality is higher. Couple small tables inside and more seating outside when the weather improves. Small selection of beer and wine. Big selection of cheeses for purchase too.

I have shopped there for 40 years. Their cheese selection is wonderful, especially their cheese curds. I haven't eaten at their restaurant but if it is as good as their cheese, it will be wonderful.

We were in town for a hockey tournament and Bass Lake Cheese Factory was highly recommended. Fantastic selection, very fair priced, great staff and delicious! Will definitely visit again when in the area.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today and were blown away! This place is part retail and part restaurant. There are a few different rooms that have a table here and there. There were about 5 samples of cheese to try, and one flavored butter. We ended up bringing a few of those home. The decor is all... More

We figured we couldn't go to Wisconsin without going to a cheese factory. We caught it on a day when they weren't making cheese, but it was still fun to see the equipment. The food was OK, but we had to wait a long time to get it which was odd because it seemed like there weren't many patrons. It's... More

Since the Fall foliage is beginning to appear, we decided to meet family and friends in Somerset Wisconsin at the Bass Lake Cheese Factory. Even though it is primarily a cheese factory and retail outlet for their product, the owners have incorporated a small restaurant at their factory. The lunch menu focuses on cheese related food, after all this is... More

5 of us went for lunch and had a great time. The atmosphere is enjoyable with lots of antiques, variety of cheeses to purchase & sample...even cheese made in the shape of a cow & the state of Wisconsin! Easy to find, beautiful scenery, nice help, delicious food! Only down side was the cost. We ordered 3 burgers & a... More

This place was ok. We went on a day they weren't making cheese. The cheese curds are not my favorite. But it's a good place to check out if you are in the area.

Wonderful that there is a small restaurant. So much goodness here. A must stop for cheese and ice cream when in the area, and now lunch or dinner.

I always knew that the Bass Lake Cheese Factory had great cheese and ice cream but I had forgotten about their delicious lunch and dinner options. Thankful I was reminded when I took my mom and daughter here for lunch last week. Can you say delicious but reasonable lunch spot? I had the burger with the onion/blue cheese topping. Wow!... More

Don't know if this is a restaurant or an attraction, but I know this is a very cool place. Nothing much happening in the cheese making room when we were there, but great cheese and interesting wine served deli-style.
