We were ushered through thick choking cigarette smoke into crushing, deafening noise for starters. Secondly, we had to walk our two young kids through the public bar to the tables. I had to repeat my order to the waitress several times (I suspect because she...couldn't hear me) and it still wasn't right when it was brought to our table, which was rectified. Menu options were limited. My lamb shanks were cooked to perfection and very tasty, but lacking in presentation and my only choice of a side was a very unappealing and unimaginative salad that I couldn't be bothered to finish. Resturant and bar staff members were friendly, pleasant and gave good service. I noticed that one of the kitchen staff was wearing a backward cap on his head. We ended up leaving early (back through the public bar and out into the cigarette smoke) due to an overall disappointing experience. Won't ever be back.More

Hmmm. Don’t bother eating here. The Margherita Pizza was terrible. Just uncooked tomato and cheese on a base that was more like focaccia. I try to support the local places but can’t recommend anything other than a drink here.

Not one vegetarian option, and no option to have a meal altered to exclude the meat. Absolutely couldn’t be bothered.

Our last few visits to the Jerra tavern have been terrible. Last night we decided to give it another go as we live within walking distance and felt like an easy dinner. After arriving we ordered some drinks. The beer tasted off(like the lines are...dirty). While trying to enjoy our drink we noticed bar staff turning away a young couple and said they were closing. We thought this was strange as it was only 7pm. There was about 5-6 bar staff who were more worried about socialising with each other then serving customers. In the restaurant 2 staff members were openly eating food behind the counter. One licking her hands clean for everyone to see. We were only about half way through our drink and a staff member started packing up our table as we sat there and tables around us. She told us we would need to order food as they were closing. We decided to leave and go elsewhere. Don’t waste your time going here.More

The place is not a hotel nor really a pub, more a 80's crappy tavern. The noise is everywhere, the food is poor quality and very small serves. I would prefer to head into the pubs in town than drop in here. The need to...really have a chat with the developer of the Royal for some help.More

There are always specials on the menu and this makes the outing affordable. It can be quite crowded after 7:00 in the evening so best to go early. The menu is kid friendly and staff are always helpful. I usually have an evening meal there...once a month.More

This is only a pub. Food was well below average. Really small serves and overcooked. I would not eat here again.

I haven’t been here for some time and and won’t be going back in a hurry. The ambience of this place compared to a lot of the other local pubs is very disappointing, The dinning side looks alright but the menu certainly needs improving, and...the other bar side is so dark a dingy and attracts a bulk amount of tradies. Its not the place a group of girlfriends want to go and feel comfortable. For the area it’s in, it’s not a family friendly place, it’s a very blokey male dominated place to go. The colour scheme and outdoor area needs a major overall, there is nothing asthetically pleasing about the look of this place to make you want to go in. The staff are always very friendly though, and I know a lot more people would go if there were some big changes, as it’s an easy walk for a lot of people. So much room for improvement.More

Ordered the Aussie burger. Beef patty came out raw. Took it back explaining that I like my meat cooked through. Waited 25 minutes for it to come back RAW AGAIN. My partner had finished eating by this time. First and last visit
