We stopped by the Rhinelander Cafe & Pub for dinner during the MDA Fall Ride one evening. We both opted for the Pub Special sandwich from the menu and ordered the optional fried onions and mushrooms. Our sandwiches arrived on a fresh hoagie type bun loaded with over a half a pound of roast beef, mozzarella cheese and our onions... More
Hubby and I went here with 4 other people. Its hard for me to eat at restaurants because I have a lot of food allergies. I decided on the battered fish with baked potato. Its on the senior menu, I'm really not a senior but the waitress didnt question. The food was very good, the fish was slightly greasy but... More
We ate breakfast here three times during our Rhinelander visit. Each time service and food were great. Twice our granddaughters and their parents were with us. The chef made special Minnie Mouse pancakes for the three year old. We're from the Orlando area and Bailey loves to meet Minnie at Disneyworld, so she was thrilled. Be sure to try the... More
Went to dinner with some friends on a Sunday funday last minute thing, our waitress was super cool, smiled and joked with us, food was fabulously cooked. Thanks for putting up with our outrageous group.. Well done

The Cafe & Pub was recommended by some locals. R & L split a "baked" Reuben sandwich, which was corned beef covered by mozzarla cheese,... More
This is one of those places that speaks to you upon entering: "We've been here forever, and we'll be here a long time." The food varies from delicious to ordinary, the service from prompt to hold-on-a-minute, and the atmosphere from noisy to hushed. Breakfast is a good option and dinner is safe with pub style choices. Tables are spaced far... More
Had the breakfast special but nothing special about it - average at best. The whole place is very dark and old-fashioned, which doesn't work for breakfast - maybe it works better in the evening. Staff more into themselves than the customers, I thought.
We always go to the "Pub" whenever we visit Rhinelander. This time we had a large group and the food was delivered promptly and was delicious. Also the server was terrific. There is a reason the pub was busy on a Monday night....the food....great choices and the great service. Some of the items may be a little more that some... More
