Again, we were on a girlfriends trip. We don't go out very often so maybe we have high expectations. This place exceeded those. I had the signature mushroom soup which was very rich, very creamy and I'm glad I tried it! My friend ordered a pork chop dish. I do not eat pork by preference, but I tried hers and... More

We had a downtown event so we stopped at Bistro 101 since it was across the street. We were not sure what to expect, figured more light faire, casual types of dishes. Was very surprised at see the selections and full dinner offerings they had. Since we weren't looking for a big meal, we settle on an appitizer and soup/salad... More

Ate there this past Friday evening and enjoyed really good food. It's tough to find a place serving more than burgers or ribs once you get a bit away from Madison. Bistro 101 could be in any major city. Quality ingredients. Good service. Creative dishes. Would definitely go back.

One of the best fine dining places in the Midwest. The food is high quality and changes with the seasons. The chef puts together some very interesting plates and the presentation is outstanding. The staff makes it a pleasant dining experience. If you are looking for a fine dining for a special occasion or just to enjoy an evening you... More

Have always enjoyed eating at Bistro 101, creative menu with well prepared food. This time needed a vegetarian meal and was delighted by the mushroom soup and vegetarian plate. It is amazing what they can turn out in a small kitchen. The wait staff are wonderful

Cozy and delightful upscale neighborhood dining overlooking main street. Best of all was the morel mushroom appetizer over puff pastry with ramp pesto. Spring on a plate! Don't miss the mushroom bisque. I hope to be back soon--the menu offers lots of intriguing choices!

We have eaten here over the years and has some mixed experiences. The last several times it's been spot on. Great food, always something new and spectacular service. My husband and I sat outside on a nice evening. The road noise a little loud but in Wisconsin let's not complain - we were outside people!!! We shared the bacon wrapped... More

The menu is extensive and offers something for every taste, but makes you feel like they made the dish especially for you. Everything comes out beautifully presented. I have never had a bad meal, and the drinks are unique.
