We decided to go around 5:00 We were seated right away and everything started filling up fast after that. I wanted to try one of their beers and get an appetizer or something small .I was drawn in by the tab on the website that said "small plates" This was not my idea of what a small plate is. The... I've read the negative reviews and don't agree. I spend the winter in Tampa, Fl with all that it has to offer and my summers in the northwoods. My wife and I totally enjoy the visits here to break up the rural monotany. The food choices, service, craft beer and view set it apart from most places. As always you... More

I was disappointed in the menu change. They used to have a sandwich called "turkey on a date". It was wonderful. Now they have the same menu items as every other bar & grill. I don't think I'll go there anymore unless the menu becomes more interesting.

Didn't want to eat at a fast food place so we stopped here. First we were looked past for getting a seat as the bar area by the dining room was busy, and waitstaff was not at the seating place. Then once we got our seat, waitress was not told she had a table, so we waited again. Once we... More

This is the second time we have been here in the last few years. We stopped in for a quick lunch and had an experience that left us wanting. The high point was the beer cheese soup. It was great with a nice balance of beer to savory. I had the beef and Brie sandwich which tasted great, but was... More

I haven't been here for awhile....I ordered a half of a turkey sandwich and a glass of wine for lunch...it was 14.00....that's right, 14$! There was only one thin slice of turkey and a couple of cucumber slices on the sandwich....I had remembered the sandwich much thicker and with cream cheese....I know Minocqua is a tourist area, but 7$ for... My friend and I took our older kids for dinner. Had a trainer server who handled most of our order, not to the best service. At the end of our dinner, the trainer said we were "teaching our kids young" because we had one beer each with dinner. When we mentioned to owner that the trainer was very disrespectful and... More

3 of us had lunch here today. We all enjoyed our food & service. Ordered the shrimp and had more than 5 on the plate...thats a huge plus. Shrimp was so good i didn't even need the cocktail sauce. Loved looking out at the lake, very relaxing. Would recommend for anyone to eat lunch here. Nice experience.

This place was alright, just average. I remembered it being great in the past so I am a bit disappointed. The beer cheese soup and the ABLT were great. The Rueben. (Open face, which was weird) and the soft pretzel weren't that great. The beer was average as well. The service was fine and overall everything was good, it just... More

Went to dinner with 3 kids. Waitress was very friendly. Food was ok. Nothing I would rush back for. Best ting we had was the pretzel for an appetizer. Burgers were ok at best. Kettle chips were fine. Fries were good. Wings were very dry and almost un chewable.

Description
We are a Wisconsin microbrewery and restaurant located in downtown Minocqua. We offer a variety of different ales, trending from light and easy-drinking, smooth amber styles and the rotating darks. Always 6-8 different craft beers on tap at all times. We are not a fine dining restaurant, but offer up our own twist on American classics and evening entrees after 4:30 p.M. Live Music every Friday and Saturday in our upstairs lounge. If you are coming onto the island from the north, we are on east side of Hwy. 51 South, next to Torpy Park. We do have on site parking, while also being close in proximity to downtown parking lots. From the lake, we are in what is known as "Save More Bay." Our docks are capable of handling four-to-six watercraft depending on size.
