Ordered corn beef and cabbage. Yum. Lean meat, cabbage perfectly done and potato pancakes with crispy edges served with applesauce. Perfect. Fast efficient service. My only negative the restaurant could use a little up dating.

We had the best rueben we have ever had. The meat just melted in your mouth. The flavors were great. Awesome corned beef hash as well.

I met a friend here on a cold winter day. I ordered the Turkey Rueben, which was delicious. And then my friend said I HAD to order the Matzo Ball soup. I've never had it before. This apparently is the place to have it!!! It hit the spot on a cold day.

We had lunch here twice in a 9 day visit, it was that good. Service was good and welcomed our kids. Food was delicious and in good portion sized. Highly recommend.

My family has been coming to Benji's for several years. Every time we come the service is always fast, friendly, and efficient. On our last visit, I got a corned beef hash and cheddar omelette with rye toast. The corned beef hash was very flavorful, and had the perfect amount of corned beef, onion, green pepper, and potato. The omelette... More

OMG I am stuffed. 1/2 order of the super hoppel poppel and I'm about to pop. Great svc, endless coffee. Might have to come back for lunch in a few hours. Worth the drive in Milwaukee!

I hadn't been to Benj's in years but despite a change in ownership this deli on upper East Side is still great. You can get all the old favorites, i.e. pastrami, bagels and locks and the famous Hoppel Poppel, everyone's favorite. Service is fast & friendly & if prices slightly more than in the old days, the food is worth... More

We never dine in here, as the place is kind of dirty and really, really needs updating. However, their corned beef is great, and whenever someone in the family gets a cold, we rush to Benji's for their matzo ball soup. It's our comfort food.

My husband and I were looking for a place to get a good breakfast but also had been talking about trying to find a good delicatessen like one we ate at in NYC a few years back. We found both in Benji's. I had the breakfast and my husband ordered a roast beef sandwich. The meat was piled HIGH. Our... More

I eat here every time I visit Wisconsin! They have the best corned beef around. The servers are nice and the food comes out fast.
