We have recently moved back to the area.. Have been looking for a place to go for friday night fish. Well We found it in Houghtons'. We had a party of 8 so there was a wait, however, it was well worth it. The fish was OUTSTANDING!!! Not much of a salad bar, but was not there for salad, but,... More

Five of us came into eat on Saturday night about 7:00pm. I ordered the 12 oz New York Strip, Medium Rare. 3 ordered burgers and the other person ordered the Broiled Shrimp dinner. Dinners came with soup and salad bar. The salad bar had a big bowl of lettuce, shredded cheese and a choice of dressings. No other veggies to... More

I'd love to comment on the food. It it never came!!! Waited 40 minutes and no apology - the excuse was that several big tables were seated before us. Wait staff couldn't care less. We will never be back!!

My wife and I had the chance to have dinner at Houghton's. we used the symphony orchestra coupon ( buy one- get one). We both had fish - she had the twice baked and I had fries. The meals come with a salad bar- pretty basic. The Chicken Dumpling Soup was excellent - as was the batter fried fish. Both... More

Very neat and clean restaurant and bar. Super friendly staff and bartenders. This place has some of the best batterfried fish and chicken I have ever had. Great salad bar with sumptuous chicken noodle soup😎 I would highly reccommend😎

My wife and I had dinner at Houghtons'. Prices are very reasonable and servings are generous. However, the quality of the food was just okay. The chef struggled to get our pork chops cooked properly so we had to send them back to the kitchen twice. They were clearly undercooked which was disappointing.

Stopped here with our son for a late night meal after we arrived at his house for a visit. The food, we had reubens, which had very good flavor, though there could have been more meat between the pieces of bread.

Best fried chicken ever! Great service and the price is right. BTW they now take credit cards. Met the owner and they will be adding pizza and a glutton friendly menu option.

While they have many good things on the menu, the chicken dumpling soup is to die for. The bar and restaurant areas are separate, but you can dine in either. They have daily lunch specials and a small salad bar. The building is only a couple of years old due to a fire, so they were able to build what... More
