Great place to eat Cajun food! Not too expensive either. It can get loud in there, but that's cause so many people love their food!

Pretty damn good for Cajun in Wi. Three of us got an assortment and did some cross sampling. Two different gumbo's , which were both very good. A seafood corn chowder, which was not as I remember from New Orleans, and my least favorite, but still pretty decent. A shrimp po- boy and a Muffeletta. Both good. At first I... More

Okay, your food comes in a plastic basket. If you can get past this, Buzzard Billy's Flying Carp Cafe is a really fun place for dinner. I had the pulled pork which was very good, and the portion was generous. My wife had a sampler plate, and she liked the jambalaya and hush puppies in particular. Our server, Tony, was... More

We were there for dinner with a larger party of about a dozen. They were very accommodating and we were seated quickly. Service was good. The menu has many fun Cajun style offerings. Quality of food was good and portions were large. Drinks were strong. Pricing was reasonable- not cheap but value was good for what we paid for. Atmosphere... More

We recently enjoyed a family lunch at Buzzard Billy's. Fried crawdads were good as was the buffalo shrimp. Gumbo was excellent. The jambalaya was lacking in meat, though, and I thought the hush puppies had an odd chemically taste. Would eat there again if I'm in the neighborhood!

When I come back to visit La Crosse and my friends, it's my choice place to eat lunch or dinner. Love the Cajun food and beer choice.

Always a great meal at Buzzard Billy's. Favorite of my husband and I, and has quickly become favorite for out of town relatives. We can't go there without having the beer cheese soup, whether as a meal for lunch, or appetizer in the evening. Aside from that, we love the cajun food and have never tried anything that wasn't awesome!

The atmosphere is fun and you will find that it has great mix of all ages, young and old. The beverages and food are always top notch. While you wait for your table you can always go upstairs and have appetizers and a cocktail and listen to great jazz! Worth a visit, Buzzard Billy's is sure to please!
