Visited for 1st time March 24. Impressed by prices, portions, and outstanding service. Will go again next time I'm in the area.

we just went to Pine Cone had soup cheesy broccoli and the best huge homemade rolls. My husband had eggs bacon crispy and toast. We sat at the counter because it was so bush and watch what a fantastic chef crew they had. The food came out quickly and good homemade food nothing fancy but big potions and delicious
Truck stops can be hit or miss this 1 has always been a hit. Wife had the sirloin steak, salad and coleslaw, she said they were great, however always order the salad dressing on the side, they tend to put way too much on. I had the 24oz t bone steak, chicken soup, hash browns all were excellent except the... More
My son and I just happened to stop in yesterday for lunch and we were shocked at how good the food was and how reasonably priced as well. He ordered the meatloaf dinner special - for $6.75 he had soup, salad, a dinner roll that was huge and meatloaf and mashed potatoes. He said it was wonderful. I had the... More
All the meals taste home cooked and are reasonably priced. They also have some of the best pastries in Wisconsin. Even the pastries are made in house.
Stopped at the outlet to return something and asked the clerk where a good place to eat was and she responded that the Pine Cone Restaurant is the best food she's ever eaten. With a testimonial like that, why wouldn't we try it? Only had about a 10-minute wait and as we were waiting we saw the patrons eating their... More
I am so mad that my husband had never taken me here before! Bakery case is overflowing with HUGE items like chocolate covered peanut butter rice krispie balls, eclairs, muffins, pies, anything you can think of! I had a homemade turkey dinner which came with a BOWL of soup and a "roll" which was practically a LOAF of bread. And... More
Good variety of food - typically greasy dinner food. Not bad but not great. However, save room for dessert - that's the best part. Be careful of busy times but watch the right side of the restaurant (near the kitchen) which is seat yourself.
We regularly stop at the Pine Cone on our way to Milwaukee. The breakfast here is excellent and good portion sizes. The cookies, cream puffs, etc are huge and all homemade. Lunch is good here also. Lots of choices.
