We stayed at the caravan park below the tavern on a windy winter evening, so we ordered takeaway fish and chips, beautiful fish, yummy chips and a great salad, we also ordered StickyDate pudding which the staff packed up for me to take back to...the van. The staff were very friendly and helpful.More
We had a family lunch here, all meals were delicious. Great ocean views, nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
We stayed at the caravan park for the weekend so it seemed an opportune time to sample a Sunday lunch at the tavern. The menu is reasonable & prices the same. Our meal was delivered fairly promptly & the was food presented well… nice fresh...salad & crispy battered fish/chips 👌🏼 ( My only suggestion for improvement would be to provide some good quality dressing or condiments. )More
A fantastic view is the ONLY positive thing about this place. Staff are rude and inconvenienced by customers, tables are always filthy, and prices are grossly inflated, especially given the quality of food.
Dropped in for a meal with friends and was impressed with the food, service and the view. We decided to eat inside, but you could eat outside undercover or out in the open near the beach. They said there was a delay, but that was...down to how busy the place was and actually did not seem that long await. Good size portions and al was fresh and tasty.More
The Bird is a must stop on your way north from Perth. Drinks on the lawn overlooking the ocean or a meal in comfort inside is a only the start of your decisions. Great food freshly prepared, a full bar option and barista coffee to...finish. MarvellousMore
I went to the Seabird Tavern for dinner with a group of friends. I ordered the Surf and Turf for $45 and when I was eating my meal I found two hairs in it. One of my friends also had a hair in their meal...and another of my friends had a total of 7 chips. No apology when staff was told about the hair just "oh what really" and asked the colour of the hair. Personally when paying $45 for a meal I don't expect to have a side of hair with it. Totally disappointing and will not be going back!More
Large group of 26 returning diners. Food was great for everyone. All of our party were well fed in a timely manner. I tired the vegetarian pizza, having had it recommended by someone outside of our party. It was fabulous but after two slices I...was full so pizza for my kids for the next day 😁. The Seaview Tavern team were attentive but not too in our faces. The party moved into the general bar after dinner where games of pool and laughs were had by all. We will no doubt return for our next Christmas function to see the team at the Bird.More
1st time visiting the Tavern.Friendly casual atmosphere great service and well presented tasty food. A lovely view overlooking the ocean and watching the sun set. A little gem without the frills
Ordered vegetarian nachos . Very disappointing. Dish consisted of corn chips small amount of cheese a smothering of tomato salsa and a spoonful of sour cream After reading reviews of restaurant expected much more. Will not eat there again . We are locals and will...never recommend this place for food . One big plus was the amicable bar attendant nothing was a problem . Very capable young lady .More
One of the best little park we have stayed at,very friendly excellent food, Can't fault it,will be back again soon for the 4th time
Was there on the weekend, I booked for a big group of family and friends on the Sunday a week before, they told me they tried to ring to cancel, but got told we must have gave them the wrong number ,so when we turned...up we were turned away, we had 11 kids in tow, so clearly COVID hadn’t been put in place by then , got told only locals allowed to eat and drink , we was looking forward to having a good time and money was no object, we all had been saving for this holiday, well all I can say is I hope you get enough locals now to pay for your rent, due to these COVID times. If good food you ever need while going to Seabird, try the local deli , those two lovely ladies were more than accommodating, thank you.More
Food has been great lately, very efficient service, meals come out quickly. Good serves as to be expected from a country pub. Creamy Garlic prawns with the rice, chips and salad is always a go to! So good!! Huge prawns and plenty of them
I had grilled fish ! I couldn’t eat it smelt really fishy when it came out and wasn’t cooked properly it was awful ! It’s so embarrassing for tourists to come to a seaside town that has beautiful fish in abundance in front of it...and you get served up imported crap ! It was a Saturday night and only 3 table s in there for dinner ! The caravan parks are full ! They could be packed if their food was good ! it’s such a shameMore
