My husband and I went to Cedarburg for the day (1-1/2 hours drive for us). After walking the downtown area, and stopping by the Cedar Creek Winery we asked the lady at the winery where we should go for lunch. She suggested Anvil - we really enjoyed it. The building is so unique and the food was wonderful. My husband... More

Ordered a "special" sandwich, Merlot Chicken. Pleasant surprise. Delicious. Unique. Would eat here again. Repurposed blacksmith shop. Great old building with good food.

We stopped here after touring the Cedar Creek Winery and the exploring the Cedar Creek Settlement. Had a lot of beer options and great sandwich choices. The "Anvil bites" --pepper jack cheese curds--were a yummy appetizer.

Being an old blacksmith shop made it a very interesting place to eat. Very close-together tables. Good and unique menu. Loud (because of the oldness of the building). Good service.

We had a party of 8 our wait they said would be 40 minutes which was a little long but we understood for a Saturday. We ended up having drinks and appetizers in the downstairs area and by the time we were done our table upstairs was ready. The restaurant is small with only seating upstairs for dinner. I would... This place was jumpin' busy last Saturday but we waited less than 15 minutes for our table. The food service prompt and friendly. I think I would have enjoyed my burger more if it had been presented on a regular bun instead of a ciabatta roll, but the delicious black 'n tan onion rings made up for it. I would... More

Just being redundant here as there are so many reviews that say the same thing: Great atmosphere and great food. It was fun just to look at all the interesting details of the old building! Delicious burger to boot!

Stopped here for lunch while browsing shops in Cedarburg. Husband had burger, and I had a salad. Both meals were very good. Atmosphere is casual and friendly. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely return.
