The Guides Inn is one of Boulder Junction's favorite restaurants. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful menu. Their speciality is walleye that customers drive miles to have. There is nothing on the menu that we have tasted that we have not loved, including Jimmy Dean's (the owner)...More

Our visit to the Guide's Inn was a highlight of our family trip. This is a gourmet supper club with very friendly service. Our whole family ordered the pan fried walleye and it was amazing...as good as our recent trip to Canada. The homemade ice...More

One restaurant we always visit on our trip north is Guides Inn. Chef Jimmy Dean does an excellent job. The Pan Fried Walleye is the best in the north. His food is fresh and well prepared. Would recommend anything on the menu.

We always consider a visit to Guide's Inn as a special one. It seems the quality and entree sizes have been dropping over the years. Perhaps its time for JD to revise his menu. The Veal dishes were unimpressive, the breading not as "crisp" as...More

We have enjoyed everything we've had at the Guides Inn. We've been dining there for many years and have always had wonderful dinners. I don't recall ever seeing Maine Lobster tails on the menu. Do you ever have them on the menu?
