I have tried to give this place a chance numerous times! The food is just not good. I would say stick with a bottled beer from the bar as you know what it should taste like, however it would be warm! Walk down to the Foxfire.. Its much better!

Its a decent place, a little expensive for the quality of service we received while we were there, If you have a peanut allergy be careful the cheesecake has nuts in it.

My wife and I selected The Junction for the last night of our week-long stay at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia. The resort had been very busy during the weekend due to a brewfest and blues concert series that attracted a lot of people. With the resort winding down for the evening, this marked a great place for us... More

Spacious, welcoming space. Kids and train buffs will like the decor. Competent, but not spectacular food.

Have been to the Junction a few times since I started going to Snowshoe a few years ago. This is a larger restaurant with a large bar area so always easier to get seated even on a weekend. Also good for large groups to have happy hour gatherings which was what my ski group did a few times. Food was... More

Our first trip to the junction was amazing the French dip platter was the most delicious sandwich I had in a long time. Service was sorta slow but not terrible, the only real complaint was the fried cheese appetizer which wasn't clear on what it was and ended up being three ping pong sized balls of deep fried cream cheese... Got there early for lunch and it was not crowded at all. I sat at the bar and was VERY well served. Food was above average in quality and not overpriced.

Typically I don't expect too much from this type of restaurant- burgers, bbq etc.. However I was pleasantly surprised by some of the fresh selections on their menu. I had the power salad (quinoa, chick peas, veggies) and it was delicious and hearty without the junk food bloat. Full disclosure - my son got the burger and loved it and... More

We had eaten there before on last trip to Snowshoe. I had the walnut chicken salad both times. This trip the apples were julienned and not cut up. Also, there was not as much walnuts. Although the place was about 30ty percent full they originally place us at a table next to the screen door to patio. We asked to... More

We had lunch here (good food and timely service). We saw the desert menu so we decided to come back after dinner. We ordered coffee, chocolate brownie sundae, and apple cobbler. The sundae was as expected. The cobbler was different. Very different. I wouldn't order again. The coffee was horrible. The coffee cup was very warm but when I drank... More
