We eat at Cracker Barrel fairly often, so we thought it would be a safe bet to check out this location in Charleston. The food was good, pretty much what we have come to expect from CB. The staff members at this location, however, seemed to be unhappy to be working. From the hostess who seated us to the server... More

I decided to write a review after reading some of the other ones. The food is very consistent here, consistently good. Since this chain is usually near an interstate and frequented by travelers, I think it's worth noting, food trends vary across the United States. I'm originally from the Deep South, and love grits. Down there, they're served a lot... More

Like all Cracker Barrels, this one in Charleston has a good variety on the menu. Good comfort food, soups, and deserts. All we had was very good. Easy parking and easy access off the street. The gift shop has an interesting variety of candy, nostalgia, and interesting items.

First time at a cracker barrel. It was a cool environment but I did not enjoy the food too much. DO NOT GET THE GRITS AS A SIDE. Maybe its that I don't like grits but I very much did not like them. The roast beef was okay but very small portions. The food was luke warm. It's like they... More

We've been to numerous Cracker Barrels, and this was the very first time that we were seated immediately. I ordered the Old Timer's breakfast. It took a long time for our order to arrive, especially since there were only a half dozen other tables with customers. But once it arrived, I was satisfied with my breakfast. My wife liked her... Don't go there late. The food was cold, and the meat and bread were hard. It was an expensive dinner to throw away.

We always enjoy great service when we visit and the food is good. The kids and the wife enjoy browsing and buying candies. We visit at least twice per month.

Ordered an egg breakfast meal (for dinner). Eggs overdone, hash browns underdone, grits watery and probably instant, and no wheat bread, multigrain bread was very good however. Restaurant was also uncomfortably cold .

Not a bad place to stop by and have a "comfort" dinner. Just like mom used to make. Staff very friendly and the portions and just right. Loved the country store right inside

Food was good. Waitress seemed mad at the world. Put our check on the table right after our food came out and never came back to check on us.
