Okay, 4.75 stars. Servers are a bit too laid back. On the other hand, my meal was outstanding. Truly. Beckley, WV is not where one expects to find great Chinese food. This was excellent! A real gem in the mountains of WV.

I have been to Young Chow's on several occasions, and have had pleasant experiences the majority of the time. First off, most entrees come at a price of $8.50. This may seem high, but you get fried rice, a choice of soup or salad, and an egg roll or cream cheese wontons. The egg drop soup is my favorite, and... More

The kimchi that they serve while you are waiting for your food is GREAT! It is the some of the best I have had, and in my opinion was the best part of our dinner. My husband thought the moo shu chicken was the best. The egg drop soup was inedible. Luckily they removed it from our bill. It has... More

Best Chinese food in town! Spicy chicken and broccoli is my favorite. The price is very good and not expensive.

It is what you expect from a Chinese restaurant. I had Moo Shu Pork and my husband had Orange Beef. Both were tasty and more than enough for dinner. The fried wontons and cabbage dish that were brought to the table while we waited for food was a nice touch.

As a frequent visitor to Beckley over the past 10 years and staying at a hotel nearby I can't believe I'd never tried this place. Wish I hadn't. The only thing authentic about the restaurant is the staff!! Kimshi and crisp noodles was a nice touch. Cashew chicken was plentiful but flavorless. Noodles were pasty. Wonton soup was blah Don't... This is the first time we've had hot and sour soup loaded with sugar. It would be better called sweet and sour soup. The meal started with complimentary kim chee, but loaded with, guess what, sugar. Our meals of tofu and broccoli in white sauce were devoid of flavor. Garlic would help with that.
