It's a bit odd at first to see a sign on a place in Yelm, an hour South of Seattle, claiming to have the best fried chicken in the Seattle area. I had to try it for myself and I'd have to agree that it's pretty darned good. The food here is made upon order so you may have to... More

Terrible experience. Food was bland and dried out. Service was worse. Waited over half an hour for food. Car ahead of me in drive-in didn't move for about ten minutes, apparently he wasn't told to pull to the side so a new order could be made. I went inside to order. Was told that my order had missed going to... More

The BEST Fried Chicken in the United States! sweet Tea that surpasses that of any southernmost restaurant. Amber our waitress was such a pleasure and you just will want to make her your new best friend. Now listen carefully if Richard is the cook, normally the breakfast cook. Your meal will taste like an old fashion home cooked meal. He... More

This restaurant is small and even though on the main street easily missed, however the food is very good and inexpensive. Great place for lunch or even just coffee.

Road Runner Cafe in Yelm has the best chicken and pork servings in the two county area. Their fried chicken is more fresh and full of flavor than any of the other restaurant in the area. It beats the competition hands down and is our first choice when ordering chicken. The other day we tried their pulled pork BBQ and... More

So pleasantly surprised. I don't live, but 40 minutes away. I am in Yelm all the time, but have not stopped here to eat. What a mistake! The BBQ chicken salad was fantastic. My wife had a philly cheesesteak sandwich which was a little light on the cheese part, but she commented on how great tasting the meat was. The... More
