We come here whenever we are in town. I've always had the breakfast items, others in my group have had lunch. Never been dissatisfied. The gals working here are always nice.

We weren't sure what to eat so we drove around and ended up here. Turned out to be a great choice. Very friendly staff, oldies on the tunes, lots of food options and we were not disappointed.

Great people work here. Get little diner. Food is good too. Steak tips and eggs is a big seller. A must try

Drove to location on the main drag, parking in adjacent lot or on the street. 1. Name: Been around forever, and it is a diner. 7/10 2. Décor: Large bar, tables and booths. Older building, lots of windows, carpet, busy walls, padded metal chairs, arborite type tables 7/10 3. Ambiance: Retro style, casual, not up market. 6.5/10 4. Menu: Extensive... More

Fun décor and good food. Our server was really helpful and our food came promptly and well presented. We ate well.

Very good food, good prices, friendly staff. I got the grilled chicken dinner. It came with a nice size salad, a potato, (I chose mashed potatoes), and garlic (Texas) toast. Chicken was juicy and flavorful, mashed potatoes were so good, but I forgot to ask for gravy on the side, so it had too much for me. The toast was... More

Great decor; service was good but it was crazy. I went on a Sunday and it was really busy. The wait was not that long only 10 minutes; ordered beefalo burger and stood at the bar stool right by the place where the food was cooked. There were a lot of orders so it took a little longer than I... More

Harkening back to old time diners, Mel's certainly fits the bill. The staff was super friendly and our coffee cups were never empty. The décor is a little tired and a little clean-up could be done.

If you are in the mood for a good old fashioned breakfast, no quinoa here, it is the place to go. I had eggs, corned beef hash, toast and great service. The coffee was really good too. I eat there again without hesitation.

Wasn't sure about it due to location but the restaurant itself is very nice and clean. Service wasn't anything to write home about but I have feeling the regulars which there are plenty of are well taken care. I had liver and onions, I always get liver and onions when it shows up on a menu. It's best with bacon... More
