I grew up in the south and have had lots of fried chicken in my days but this place takes 1st on the best in ever had! Chicken was hot, crispy and juicy inside. I am still talking about the baked beans. They are unique and delicious and pair perfectly with the chicken! Definitely a must try!

Im someone that fryes chicken at least 3 times a month so I know good chicken. With that being said this place that I've heard so much about was disapointing. The chicken lacked seasoing it was bland. All the pieces looked the same not sure were they buy it from. The sides were laughable. The beans not good the potates... More

Previous time here was a disappointment. This time whoever was doing the cooking was spot on. The chicken was moist inside and crispy outside. All white order had very large pieces. Biscuits, as usual, were big, flaky, and delicious. My take out order of just chicken and biscuits took about two minutes. Meals for others were not as fast as... More

I recommend this restaurant if you are in the neighborhood. Some of the best fried chicken that I've had with great tasting sides. The building/parking lot is relatively small so I wouldn't recommend it for a large group but if you are passing by, stop in!

We were hankering for some good southern fried for months, cause where we live in Southwest, not that common. Who'd a thunk we'd find it satisfy our yearnings on a visit to the Northwest?! But so we did with a tip from a precocious coed graduating from UPS. Evell, the proprietor, migrated up here to the Northwest from Texas years... More

In fact, it could be better than anyone's fried chicken but I haven't tried them all, yet. I prefer the regular fried not the spicy fried. Very crispy, juicy, delicious. They say the sides (slaw, mashed potatoes, fries, baked beans, buns) are freshly made which may be true but I was there for the chicken and didn't care about side... More

First of all, for those not familiar with Ezell's events, this is not the Original Ezell's. There was a lawsuit and both Ezell's and Heavensent chicken both have rights to the recipes. I love the chicken strips and the sweet bun. Where else can you find chicken livers. I try to avoid fried foods but every once in a while... More

This place has top notch chicken livers. They are breaded just right and fried fresh when you order them. They are not very greasy either. Restaurant is more for take out than eat in but they do have a few tables. This was our second visit. The chicken is pretty good too. The rolls are sweet bread.

My husband and I love Ezell's fried chicken - but this location is consistently a disappointment. We, unfortunately, find ourselves frequent visitors and/or patients at St. Joseph's hospital (which is just blocks from this location) and we often stop there for a bite to eat. But our stop last week will be our last - after a long wait (15+... More

I've been here several times. We love their spicy and regular chicken strips and I believe I'm addicted to the fried okra! The neighborhood may be a little sketchy, but it's safe to eat there, or get take out.
