While the staff was very friendly and attentive I doubt that my husband and I will return any time soon. The food is very OK. We ordered the Sicilian Carbonara (a "signature dish") and fried shrimp. Neither were offensive, just mis-priced for what they were....More

So, the burger is ok at best, and definitely not worth any where near $13 + tax + tip. Frozen, not fresh, patties. Cooked way above Medium-Well. Looked gray and lifeless and was very dry! None of this can be attributed to being busy, only...More

Nice atmosphere; friendly;varied menu-----all the requisites, but failed in quality control. We experienced three issues that contributed to a rating reduction. Owner/chef tried to appease with gratis dessert. That helped, but the damage was done.

Food is ok. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. BUT... word of caution when tipping... They automatically put 15% on your bill. The receipt has a space for tipping as well!!! So you'll end up tipping TWICE!!! I didn't realize this...More

We enjoyed our dinner this evening at Laguna Cafe. Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Their happy hour offers the best wines at half price that we have come across. We had the spinach and artichoke appetizer. It was very good. We also like their seafood...More

I've been here a couple times; it's conveniently located. My advice? Do NOT order anything with bread! I didn't think it was possible to make a bad Panini but they manage! Nothing you could place between those slabs of heavy, flavorless bread could redeem it....More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your panini, we would gladly have replaced your meal, we support many other local vendors, including our bakery, but sometimes an item may not be up to our standards, the bread you received sounds awful. We cannot taste...More

I would imagine you can order the small plates any time. I have not ordered this, but I have found them to be very accommodating. I have difficult dietary needs and they have always accommodated me with a smile.

Laguna Cafe was established in 2007 on Spokane's South Hill. We relocated to our present address in Dec. 2015. We feature Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner on Sunday and Lunch,Dinner Monday thru Saturday in a warm and casual setting. Owners Dan and Chef Debbie collected menu ideas from our families and our travels. Our families have always been in the food business, my Grandfather sold produce door to door after escaping poverty and starvation in Sicily in 1890. Debbie's Mother cooked professionally all her life. We draw on their teaching to inspire our menu of American and Italian dishes as well as things that strike our fancy. We have a full bar, over 90 wines and a dozen beers available inside or on our patio. You may chose to call ahead and drive up to our pick up window to take your meal home with you. Save room we have spectacular desserts.
