Thought we would go in for a quick bite before a movie. Sat at the counter near where the sushi chefs were making the dishes. After about 5 minutes with no one to serve drinks we went to the bar and got our own. Apparently this was really a bad thing to do. After we had a few of the... More

We've been to one of these in another town.this one is much better. More food on the belt and attentive, yet non hovering servers. The prices were comparable, but with so many more choices, this is is our new fav.

Sushi can be expensive. Maru is fairly reasonable with color coded plates ranging from 1.85 -4.85 a plate. The sushi is conveyor belt style with the option to place special orders if you desire. Variety is good and sushi is fresh.

The sushi is pretty good, and the train of food never stops! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the sushi was great, the Chinese that trailed along with the sushi was pretty good as well. Overall, this is a rather fun place t visit if you're going out with friends and happen to be in the area!

Visited Maru for lunch after a movie. Fun concept of having the sushi go by on a conveyer belt. It was a little hard to tell what each roll was. The server was available to order specific rolls or pieces we wanted. Quality of fish was good but not the best I have had.

Walking into sushi maru you can tell it's a fun environment just by the scene and the music, combine that with the conveyor belt of sushi that's constantly bringing you new and exciting food and you have a great experience for the whole family! Careful with the cost though, it can add up quick. The sushi itself is a par... More

We had lunch here and enjoyed the wide selection of plates with lots of nigiri options. Friendly staff, lots of space and many choices. Great spot.

The conveyor belt was funny and a nice reason to try Sushi Maru. Food is so-so, items offered is good (not just sushi), price is reasonable. Beyond the conveyor belt, it was your typical American Sushi place. Always worth trying!

I came in at 8:19pm on a Sunday and the staff acted like I had committed a crime, 41 minutes before close. Staff was very rude and service was seriously lacking. There were 5 young men playing catch with a black towel behind the sushi bar for a period of 15+ minutes. Fish on the belt was very old and... More

To begin, there aren't many places for sushi in Spokane so Sushi Maru doesn't have much competition. Their sushi is good/okay. The sushi that I special ordered did take a very long time to arrive even though yhe restaurant was not crowded. Staff can best be described as rude and uninterested. I was never welcomed, drinks were never refilled. No... More
