We're missing some of those quintessentially British things we sadly left behind last fall. Imagine our delight when a friend told us there was a place in Redmond that looked like our pub down the street. We walked in and toured the souvenir store, smiling at many things we bought back in Yorkshire and the adjacent dining room that was... More

I came here seeking Mr. Kipling's cherry bake wells and was pleased to see the bakery had their own. The steak and veggie pie was delicious and the shop had a fun selection. Highly recommend.

Stopped by for dinner one night. Food want bad, I had the pasty and if you are used to a Cornish pasty this seems to be a bit different. Little heavy on the gravy in the pasty. Since usually get Cornish parties in Michigan's Upper Peninsula I was surprised with the gravy Service was good, staff was attentive without getting... More

If you want to try something a little different come here. Authentic British food with decor which also appears authentic. It is also attached to a store which sells British items and then next to it is a British pub so quite a nice little set up. The British breakfast is large and exactly like we had in England and... Chips! Chips! Chips! My kids love French fries and here a lot of them. Tried classic meals and especially loved pie with meat and mushrooms. Sauces are the key. Probably chef is proud of them. Cheesecake was awesome, seriously. I decided to take additional one home. And the personnel - very polite. It is important if you are with kids,... More

Are the pasties like Rowes in Truro, Cornwall, UK? No, but they are tasty. In fact all that they offer is GREAT and that includes the tea selection as well as the bits of English bone china they have as well. I try to get there every month. Nothing like a few pasties, sausage rolls, beef and mushroom pies and... More

Girl's day out for tea last Saturday. The British Pantry is a three-in-one stop with restaurant, gift shop and bar. Our party of four dined on pasties & chips, traditional teas, crumpets, fruits, cucumber sandwiches, scones, cream and preserves. Everything was delicious but I must say the chips were the best I've ever had! I don't know what their secret... More
