We went to Jj's on the recommendation of a friend. It was hard to find parking on a Saturday afternoon in that area but was worth the walk to the restaurant. It was super busy and we had about a twenty minute wait. Service was good and fast! Fish and chips were really good!

JJ's Fishhouse has a great location in downtown Poulsbo... but if you sit outside you can smell the very nearby dumpster. Overlooks the parking lot and beyond that is the marina view. Average food. Family friendly. Kitchen is open to the restaurant. I enjoyed their French onion soup...

I had clam chowder which was good, not the best I've ever had, but good. The crab cakes came with a salad. The mango sauce was great making the crab cakes very tasty, excellent. The salad was good as well. My spouse had clam linguini, which was okay The service was very good.

JJ's Fish House has been in Poulsbo for many years. We re-visited this establishment to give it another try. The menu on their web site is not the menu in the restaurant. Uninspiring offerings, fair service, but doesn't show any innovation, or sparkle. The beer list posted in the restaurant was in accurate; beers not available. It looked tired and... More

Waterfront with a parking lot view, such is downtown Poulsbo. Food is always good though unimaginative. The menu has not really changed in 20+ years. Calamari and Onion soups are very good. Depending on day/night of week, the food may be over cooked.

We usually decide on fish'n chips which is always great. And their clam chowder is home made without being pasty. We love the fact that they allow dogs on their patio, even when weather is on the cooler side. They eagerly set up a table for us, even providing a bowl of fresh water for our 2 well behaved and... This restaurant is supposed to be known for their fish n chips! As a local, I have visited JJ's a handful of times. I have tried to give this place a chance. Unfortunately, the fish has been undercooked/slimy every time! For the price you pay, the fish n chips are not worth it and I won't be going back.

Not very impressed! Negatives very loud, smells unclean, floor and doors are filthy. Positive Chowder fantastic and the Burger was good. If you can look past the uncleanliness then you will probably like this place.

Bad smells from the kitchen! Don't they ever change the mats? Yucky old fish smells all the way down the hall to the restrooms.
