We had lunch here on Mother's Day & I was given a rose, sweet touch. The clam chowder, fish & chips was good. Then I had the warm homemade cherry pie a la mode, wonderful!!! The views are nice also of the bay, there's not a lot of parking.

But we went to lunch at noon on Mother's Day, so I have to cut them a huge amount of slack. This restaurant surpassed all my expectations after looking their online website and menu. Staff were impressive in ALL regards. Breakfast food ... like I said 5 stars all around, and there were four of us eating. This is the... More

This is a "diner" type place where we ate twice on a recent trip. Our lunch of fried oysters was among the best oysters I have had in a long time. The next day's breakfast was also good,. Fine coffee and generally very good if informal service. Will definitely go there again when next in PT.

We stopped in for a late lunch before driving back to the Seattle area and we're pleasantly surprised. We shared the seafood platter and a side of onion rings. The food was fried but that's what we were looking for! Great beer, good food and really great service. I'd eat here again!!

Turkey and gravy sandwish and meatloaf sandwiches were huge and tasty. Fish and chips were disappointing. Frozen fish - matching pieces. Figured a port town should have fresh fish or at least fresh dipped. Service was really great!

Have eaten here several times. Fried clams are the best in a very good overall menu. Breakfasts are particularly good and hearty. It is a pleasure to sit on the waterfront watching the boats and wildlife while observing the locals coming and going. The staff is friendly and service great. It is a very relaxed and congenial atmosphere with good... More

Our group ate here several times while we were in Port Townsend. Portions are large and the service was fast and courteous. Definitely recommend.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants until the customer service service kept getting worst. Today when I entered The "boss" said where have you been. I hadn't been coming because the food and service was going down hill. Cold meals, hair in my food, grumpy servers. The last time I went I was with family. And found hair... More

Great waterline view, classic diner layout and menu options, but actually rather well prepared...Slight above mediocre! The clam strips n chips were enormous, accompanying house-made coleslaw better than store bought, and the Bloody Mary's delicious. With low expectations upon arrival, I ended up quite satisfied. The service was quick and our waitress was politely helpful. All in all, content. Thanks!... More

The Bayview is a comfortable place to eat when you just want good food without pretense. Good price, good food, great water view, and friendly staff. I had the Chef Salad and wife had French Dip Sandwich. A pleasant time. There were no surprises, including the check. Note: This is also the restaurant with a scene in An Officer and... More
