Really sweet host, very chilled out, and the most amazingly tender, flaky, melt in the mouth piece of cod I've ever had the pleasure to eat!

We stopped at the Snug Harbor Café on Route 101 for lunch. We both had the small portion of fish and chips. The food was pretty good. Our server was nice. The place needs a thorough cleaning.

The dinner portion of cod was large and crispy with great flavor. My friend said the fried oysters were some of the best he's had, perfectly cooked

We drove to this place where I had eaten several years ago. What a delight to find the salmon n chips and the halibut n chips just as good as they were years ago! The food was deep fried but not greasy. The fish coating was crispy and crunchy and not thick. Quantity was satisfying but not wasteful. The service... More

This cafe is located on the Highway 101 and is convenient for a quick bite. There is a wooden "porch" entry with two picnic tables. To the right is the restaurant with wooden tables and to the left a bar. The smell of fish is predominant upon entering. It is what I would call a cheep and cheerful restaurant with... More

Read other reviews and stopped by for an early lunch. The halibut fish and chips are what everyone says they are. The best!!! My husband had a great chicken avocado sandwich on super wheat bread. Had a couple of beers and made for a very great lunch. Service was ver friendly.

We were staying in the area and ate here both evenings. I enjoyed the clams one night, and the oysters on the other. You wouldn't guess from the exterior, but this place serves fantastic, high-quality, local cuisine. If you love seafood, this is an outstanding stop. If I am ever in the Port Townsend area again, I will return.

Menu has a great selection, especially seafood. Unfortunately, the food and and portions seemed just average. Tempura Oysters were more heavily breaded than we prefer. Stir fry was tasty enough but had far more sauce than needed. Service was ok except that it took a long time to get the bill and then have it picked up; maybe the the... More

Don't judge a book by its cover! The Snug Harbor Cafe is easy to drive by on the 101 without a second glance. The humble external belies the treats that await inside. The restaurant's interior is homey and rustic, with lots of exposed wood and framed photos of local wildlife. The dining area is small, maybe 10 tables at most.... More
